Baku City Circuit announces special offer on one-day tickets to second F1 race weekend

Baku City Circuit (BCC) today announced it will be offering spectators access to both new standing zones in the Sahil and Sabir parks areas via special one-day tickets.

These Daily Roaming Tickets are suitable to anyone preferring to watch the action from various standing areas and podiums around the circuit and who also wish to enjoy the wide variety of food options and entertainment programs taking place up and down Azerbaijan’s only F1 venue.

Prices for one-day tickets for these new zones range from the following: 10 AZN for Friday (June 23rd), 20 AZN for Saturday (June 24th) and 40 AZN for the race day (June 25th). For anyone wishing to purchase each daily ticket in one go, BCC is offering these at a special price of 50 AZN for all three.

Bulent Ozerdim, BCC’s Commercial Director, welcomed today’s announcement and invited everyone to use this great opportunity to come and witness the biggest sporting event of the year: “In order to raise awareness among Baku’s residents about the newest addition to the Formula 1 calendar, BCC is always striving to create new options for people to view the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix from the many different zones located around the circuit and to make it as accessible as possible to everyone. We are eager to provide fans with an amazing race weekend with a wide range of entertainment options to enjoy when the cars aren’t on-track. The ticket offer that we are presenting today will allow us to give fans the great race experience they deserve and allow them to view the action from one of the most thrilling parts of the track”.

In Sahil Park, ticketholders will be able to enjoy the race from Turn 3, located at the end of the first acceleration zone, while, in Sabir Park, they will have an excellent view of the action from the narrowest part of the track as cars head towards Turns 11 and 12.
Spectators will be entertained by DJ’s, balloon shows and dance troupes in these standing zones in both Sahil and Sabir parks. Moreover, they will be able to view the racing taking place around the track via a large monitor that will be installed at Sahil Park. Additionally, there will be no shortage of food and drink options on offer to fans in both zones.

Unlike other standing zones along the Boulevard, Sahil and Sabir ticketholders can view the race from only within these zones and will have no access to the Boulevard itself.

Formula 1 fans who want to enjoy the entertainment programmes in the Baku Boluveard (National Park) area as well as enjoy the major concerts by gloabl music stars should therefore be sure to purchase the correct tickets that secure access to this zone.
