Baku City Circuit Academy hosts AMCHAM Azerbaijan HR Committee
American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan’s (AMCHAM) Human Resources Committee had its regular meeting at Baku City Circuit (BCC) Academy. Irana Ahmedova, Head of BCC’s Human Resources and Workforce, opened the meeting by welcoming the participants and spoke about the functions of her department at BCC.
During the presentation, Irana Ahmedova presented BCC attitude towards employees and opportunities that the company created for them, as well as benefits of Formula 1 race for the country.
Moreover, participants were informed about the recruitment process of volunteers carried out by BCC’s Workforce department, seminars, trainings, and language courses designed for volunteers and their success stories.
Irana Ahmedova noted that the main purpose of these events was to contribute to volunteers’ personal development: “Majority of the volunteers are young and “Volunteers Program” is designed to help them improve their certain skills”.
The presentation aroused great interest among participants. During the interactive session, lawyers of member companies answered questions on labor legislation. In the end, AMCHAM representatives thanked Baku City Circuit Operations Company for organizing such a high level meeting.
