The registration of volunteers for Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2023 officially kicks off

Baku City Circuit Operations Company (BCC) has launched the registration of volunteers for the upcoming Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix taking place on April 28-30, 2023.

A total of 1,500 volunteers are expected to be involved in the 2023 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which will be held for the seventh time. The volunteering program has been further enhanced and foreign language skills are desirable for the selection process. Due to a large number of applicants, priority will be given to the best candidates during the selection process. Selected volunteers will be assigned to different functions in human resources, workforce, media operations, audience services, city operations, office operations, airport operations, and so on.

Head of the Human Resources and Workforce Department at BCC, Irana Ahmadova, noted that the BCC Academy makes sure the volunteers’ preparation for races is at a high level along with their professional development, just like every year. So, with this in mind, a number of hands-on workshops, seminars, and conversation clubs will be organized for the volunteers. They will be able to take part in workshops covering different topics, gain fresh knowledge, and exchange ideas. The academy also plans various events to boost team spirit among the volunteers and to enhance their teamwork skills. Such events will also help them make new friends and connections. To sum it up, it is of utmost importance for BCC to give these volunteers an opportunity to polish their skills and enjoy this outstanding experience.

Those who have reached the age of 16 can apply to be a part of this opportunity. Having a sufficient level of English language knowledge, (an additional language proficiency is a plus) is preferred. In addition, highly motivated candidates with perseverance skills will be prioritized during the selection process.
