Baku City Circuit and ASAN Radio Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
The Memorandum of Cooperation was inked by Nigar Arpadarai, BCC’s Head of Marketing and Communications and ASAN Radio Director, Emin Musavi.
Both sides expressed confidence that the forthcoming partnership will make a significant contribution to raising awareness of the 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix amongst the domestic audience.
Sharing her thoughts on the official media partnership, Arpadarai noted: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with the ASAN group under the auspices of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The new cooperation that we have started today will create new opportunities to increase the public awareness of the second Formula 1 race to be held in Baku on June 23-25.”
ASAN Radio Director, Emin Mousavi, also commented on the importance of the partnership agreement: “We are thrilled to become the official radio partner of Baku City Circuit Operations Company and, at the same time, we fully understand our responsibility ensure that we deliver the highest possible standard coverage of the 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix from today onwards. Having been actively involved in the coverage of Azerbaijan's inaugural Formula 1 race in 2016, we are well placed to do so once again this year. Based on today’s agreement, ASAN Radio will become a media partner of the promoter of the country’s highest-profile sporting event and we will use this opportunity to make a great contribution to helping promote Azerbaijan worldwide."
Based on the agreement signed this morning, ASAN Radio will have the rights to cover all events held by Baku City Circuit Operations Company and will provide information and support to the public during the 2017 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix race weekend itself.
