Baku City Circuit hosted «Self-development meetings»

FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX

On April 17, Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix Volunteer Centre hosted “Self-development meetings” for Formula 1 volunteers.

The event was organized by Baku City Circuit (BCC), in cooperation with “ASAN service” volunteers and with the support of Azersun Holding.

At the meeting, Irana Ahmadova, BCC’s Head of Human Resources, Fuad Hasanov, Azersun Holding’s Head of Corporate PR and Cahangir Hajiyev, Head of “ASAN School” highlighted the importance of volunteers at international sports events and wished good luck to all Formula 1 volunteers.

The purpose of this event was to raise awareness of volunteer activities and to demonstrate the support of ASAN volunteers and Azersun Holding within the project — Corporate Social Responsibility.

In addition, Azersun Holding distributed books — “Volunteers: formula of success” — as a present among 200 participants of the event. The book was written in support of www.asanmektub.az project.

On February 29, 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Baku City Circuit and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (“ASAN service”), with the express aim of ensuring the further development and strengthening of cooperation between both parties with regards to volunteer activities.

Azersun Holding has implemented a number of bilateral and multilateral projects to raise ecological awareness, in cooperation with ASAN service.
