On the eve and during the event, pedestrians will be able to freely move around the race area using the pedestrian overbridge and underground pass way as well.
Pedestrian overbridges will be installed and being activated close to the race week at the following locations:
1. The intersection of Azerbaijan Avenue and Istiglaliyyat Street.
2. The intersection of Khagani and Rashid Behbudov streets.
3. The intersection of Azadlig Avenue and Khagani Street.
4. The intersection of Rashid Behbudov Street with Neftchilar Avenue.
Due to the commencement of the project logistics operations, the traffic will be restricted at the part of Pushkin Street between Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street and Neftchilar Avenue as of 22nd April 2023 from 01:00 am till the end of the Event.
According to the approved Traffic Management Plan, the roads within Baku City Circuit and the areas around the track will be closed for traffic starting from 01:00 am on 24th April till 08:00 am on 2nd May.
The territory of the event is conventionally divided into 3 zones where Event-related traffic restrictions or changes will take place.
Zone 1 - covers the territory of the Old City "Icherisheher"
Zone 2 - includes the territory of Azadliq Square and adjacent streets.
Zone 3 - covers the territory of the Park of Waterfalls, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, and adjacent streets.

The granting of the vehicle access to these zones will be provided based on special passes - Resident Access Permit (RAP)
The Resident Access Permit will be distributed among the residents living in locations & areas impacted by the Event-related activities and individuals having constant businesses at the mentioned locations. The issuance of this pass is free of charge.

To get a pass, the applicant has to get in touch with one of the distribution offices depending on the applicant's residence or business allocation.
Pass distribution timeframe: April 10, 2023 - April 28, 2023.
Working schedule: Monday - Friday from 10:00 till 17:00.
This pass is a self-adhesive sticker, and upon receipt needs to be affixed to the front windscreen of the vehicle's interior side according to the figure below:

Zone 1
Vehicle Entry and Exit during the night time only, from 00:00 till 06:00.
Icherisheher area vehicle Entry and Exit will be in place at Veli Mammadov Street by the direction through the Azneft roundabout via VCP#8

Zone 2
There are no timeframe limitations for vehicle entry or exit, but the passage will be available while the track gates are open. Depending on the activity at the Race-track, the gates on that location will be closed from time to time.
Vehicle Entry and Exit will be in place at the intersection of Rashid Behbudov and Khagani streets via VCP#6. Please refer to map # 1 for details.
Zone 3
There are no timeframe limitations for vehicle entry or exit.
Vehicle Entry and Exit will be in place near the Park of the Waterfalls alongside Lermontov Street via VCP#7. Please refer to map # 1 for details.
The parking will be available for Zone 1 Old City "Icherisheher" Resident Access Permit holders only. The details with regards to a parking location and terms of use will be given by our Company representative at the designated distribution point.
Please refer to map #1 for alternative traffic-related solutions during the Race. You can see these alternative roads in blue on the map which have been considered for continuous traffic flow. Please be advised that parking on these roads will be strictly prohibited for consistent traffic flow purposes.
Please refer to map #1 where the streets with traffic restrictions are indicated. Starting from 01:00 am on 24th April till 08:00 am on 2nd May, the streets highlighted in red will be entirely closed for traffic.
Furthermore, the traffic management along these streets will be carried out by the related State Traffic and Transport Authorities.
The generic data regarding the changes in routes & schedules of the public transport (buses) will be available on the website of the Baku Transport Agency close to the Race week.

Due to the road closures, there is no availability to be dropped off at the Venue Gates. But, by using the pedestrian overbridge and underground passway the ticket holders will be able freely approach to the Venue entry Gates.
Since there is NO parking reserved for spectators, Public Transport is the easiest way to get to and from the Race Track's closest areas.

Public Transport – Metro
The efficient Metro system provides an easy way of getting around the City Center.
The closest to the Race Track metro stations are as follows;
· Icherisheher Metro station – near the Race Track.
· 28 May Metro station – 700 meters to the Race Track.
· Sahil Metro station – near the Race Track.

Public Transport – Taxi
A cab can take ticket holders to the drop-off location close to the Race Track, but NOT to the Venue entrance Gates exactly. From that locations by using the pedestrian overbridge and underground passway ticket holders will be able freely approach to the Venue entry Gates.
The taxi service could be arranged at any time over taxi service-related smartphone applications such as; Uber, Bolt and etc.
The taxi fares depend on the class of the vehicle and the service provider.
