It should be noted that the "Green" marshals at the post 19.2 of the Baku City Circuit represent environmental sustainability. They come up with initiatives aimed at minimizing the impact of racing on the environment. In addition, the post uses environmentally friendly equipment and marshals wear overalls made from recyclable material.
At the meeting, the visitors were informed about the activities of the marshals and the features that distinguish "Green Post" from others. At the same time, the marshals shared their thoughts on the marshal experience at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
In the end, the marshals' initiative was highly appreciated and they were wished success in their activities.
As a promoter of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Baku City Circuit has joined the initiative to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2030 as part of the global sustainable development strategy of Formula 1.
