MONEYGRAM HAAS F1 TEAM WELCOMES BAKU OXFORD SCHOOL STUDENTS INTO THE FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX PADDOCK
Baku, Azerbaijan - (April 28th)– MoneyGram Haas F1 Team - the only American team on the Formula 1 grid – today welcomed the selection of STEM scholars to the Paddock to showcase the inner workings of a Formula 1 Team.
Five lucky students from the Baku Oxford School earned the chance via their own impressive academic achievements to come to the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2023 and experience an unforgettable day in the life of the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team.
The five students - made up of Azerbaijani, German, Singaporean & Iranian nationalities - were warmly welcomed into the paddock by MoneyGram Haas F1 Team and immediately got to experience a Pit Stop Practice in action before having a chance to speak whit and question members of the team’s crew of mechanics on their own backgrounds and professional experience.
They were subsequently able to watch FP1 from the team garage before finally receiving the special opportunity to meet one of the most in-demand people in the whole sport: Team Principal of the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Guenther Steiner.
A clear fan-favourite, the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX promises to deliver non-stop thrills and excitement once more on and off-track. The race weekend will be the first of six races in the 2023 season to stage a sprint race, guaranteeing three days of high-octane, ultra-competitive racing for fans to enjoy on track before they head to the Main Stage to enjoy the headline concerts by Don Diablo and Hardwell.
