He pointed out that revenues from tourism, interest from foreign visitors, and overall economic contributions have been steadily increasing since 2016.
The report highlighted the anticipated surge in tourists and fans coming to Baku during race week from September 13 to 15, 2024, with a 35% increase in seating capacity compared to previous years. Euronews also covered the extensive preparations for the event, including the involvement of around 1,500 staff members, 2,000 volunteers, and over 1,400 marshals. Highlights included the full occupancy of city hotels, the implementation of the latest technological innovations in the Baku Circuit, improvements in road infrastructure, and attention to security and environmental protection.
