Selected Roads to Remain Open for Public Use During the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024

During the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 in Baku, several key roads within the race track area will remain open to the public at specific times throughout the race week.

The following entry and exit points will be accessible from Monday, September 9th, to Thursday, September 12th, at the designated hours:

Entry Points:

- From Salyan Highway towards Neftchilar Avenue and Azneft Square.

- From M. Lermontov Street towards the UN 50th Anniversary Street and Istiqlaliyyat Street.

- From S. Vurghun Street towards U. Hajibeyli Street and Bulbul Avenue.

- From Bulbul Avenue towards Khagani Street and Neftchilar Avenue.

- From the intersection of Nizami and Pushkin Streets towards Khagani Street.

Exit Points:

- From Neftchilar Avenue towards Baku Sea Port, Port Baku Mall, and Crescent Mall.

- From Istiqlaliyyat Street towards Azerbaijan Avenue.

- From Neftchilar Avenue towards Azneft Square, Deniz Mall, and Salyan Highway.

On September 9th, 10th, and 11th, these roads will be open for continuous traffic from 07:00 to 09:00 in the morning and from 18:00 to 20:00 in the evening. On September 12th, the roads will be open from 07:00 to 09:00 in the morning and from 20:00 to 22:00 in the evening.

Please Note:

- These roads will function as transit corridors only during the specified hours.

- Parking, passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, and stopping on these roads are strictly prohibited, except in emergencies.

- Heavy trucks and public transportation are not permitted to use these roads during these times.

- The speed limit on these roads will be set at 50 km/h.

Traffic management will be overseen by the Baku City Circuit (BCC) in collaboration with relevant law enforcement authorities. Drivers are advised to follow all regulations and signs to ensure smooth traffic flow.
