The preparation of volunteers for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 is in full swing.

The preparation of volunteers for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 is well underway, with a robust program managed by the Baku City Circuit Academy (BCC Academy).

The volunteer training process is extensive and versitale, focusing on preparing participants for the event and their personal and professional development. Volunteers engage in panel discussions and intellectual games covering topics such as creative and lateral thinking, career planning, diversity, and integration. This comprehensive training program aims to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge.

It is worth noting that volunteer applications this year have reached a record high. In just four days, over 16,000 candidates applied to participate in the prestigious international event, with more than 2,000 of them set to be involved in the event. Among the volunteers for the Baku race, more than 100 are foreign nationals from different continents. Another interesting fact is that 69% of the volunteers are women.

The Head of Human Resources and Workforce at Baku City Circuit Operations Company, Irana Ahmadova, stated: “The number of applications this year has increased significantly compared to previous years. The training and professional development opportunities provided to international and local volunteers meet modern requirements. I should note that the selection process for young people applying to the Baku City Circuit involves various stages, and their knowledge and skills are evaluated based on different criteria.

The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 is scheduled to take place from September 13-15, marking the eighth time Baku will host this prestigious international event.
